In this painting, There is a Crown of thorns in her neck in representation of her pain after her divorce
with her husband Diego, There is a dead hummingbird this representations her disappointment.
Also on her shoulder there are a black cat and a monkey. The cat
representations her love for animals and the monkey symbolizes the indifference
of her husband to her. Kahlo painted a lot of paintings and they symbolize her
life. This painting representations her pain and misery.
We can see that
she is wearing a white dress, her hair is furl in her head, on her head there are
butterflies flying, behind of her there are green leaves. She has a oval face
also she has thick eyebrows, she has cauliflower
ears ,she has a button nose and her lips are pink.
